Founder & Heart of Always Driven Apparel
What began as a creative hobby making bling apparel for her daughters quickly grew into something much bigger. Karen started designing for friends and family, eventually launching her side business, The Boutique of Bling, all while working full-time in government.
As word spread and demand grew, Karen saw the potential to expand. She purchased a trailer with plans to create shirts on demand at events and rebranded to Always Driven Apparel—a name that reflects both her mobile ambitions and her unwavering motivation to grow and improve.
By 2021, the business had taken off, and juggling two full-time jobs became unsustainable. In August of that year, Karen made the leap—taking early retirement to pursue her passion full-time. Within a year, she opened a storefront. Within two, she had outgrown it and expanded into a larger space.
Today, Always Driven Apparel has seven team members and continues to evolve with the industry. Karen cherishes her “work family” and takes pride in turning first-time customers into long-term friends.
But no matter how busy things get, Karen’s first love is always her family. She’s married to John and is a proud mom to Kassidy, Brianna, and Caleigh—as well as her three beloved fur babies, Max, Leo, and Charlie.
Kerri is a proud stay-at-home mom of 22 years who began a new chapter in September 2024, joining Always Driven part-time. With family always at the heart of everything she does, Kerri brings unwavering dedication, determination, and heart to both her home and work life.
Married for 25 years and mom to three beautiful children, Kerri thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves being part of a strong, supportive team—her co-workers at Always Driven have truly become like family.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Kerri soaking up the sun at the beach, walking her dog, powering through a Peloton ride, or getting lost in a good book. Passionate, loyal, and driven, Kerri is grateful for the balance she’s found between family and fulfilling work.
Andrea has lived in Toms River / Brick area for over 40 years. Andrea has been in this line of work for 20 years and we at Always Driven value the expertise she brings.
At Always Driven Apparel, Andrea is one of our heat pressers making screenprint apparel for you.
Andrea is a mother of four, grandmother of 3. She enjoys crafting and relaxing in her yard.

Meet Michele – After moving to the Jersey Shore in 1999 following my marriage. I am proud to be the wife and mother of two, and family has always been at the center of everything I do.
With over a decade of experience in this field, my journey began after successfully running and selling my own business. That entrepreneurial background gave me a strong foundation in dedication, customer service, and attention to detail-values.
What I like best about working at Always Driven Apparel is the energy and passion that everyone brings to the table.
Pam grew up in Texas and moved to Toms River NJ in 1991. She is married and mother of tow. Pam has been in this line of work since 202. It all started back in 2014 when she was a craft vendor which led Pam to the art of embroidery. We were excited when Pam joined the team because she brought her knowledge and expertise to our Embroidery Team!
Pam enjoys cooking, especially South Cooking and makes a great slow cooked BBQ brisket!
When asked what she likes about working at Always Driven she replied, “I love watching designs come to life from the embroidery machine to the apparel. I love the friendly atmosphere at work and the women I work with.”
Dawn moved from Long Island, NY to Howell, NJ in 1999 and has loved living near the Jersey Shore since. For the last 15 months, Dawn supports the Front Office Operations for Always Driven. Prior to coming to Always Driven, Dawn was a Senior Project Manager for 34 years and brings her experience to the Front Office Operations for our store.
When you come in to our store for your apparel needs, Dawn can provide you end to end operational expertise. Supporting Sales for Varsity Jackets, Apparel sales, online store design, screenprint design, embroidery digitizing and more.
Dawn is a married mother of 3 girls. In her down time she enjoys Photography, specializing in Sports photography and Cap/Gown photos.

Olivia grew up in Toms River, where she spent her childhood immersed in soccer, swimming, and lacrosse, while also expressing her creative side through dance and musical theater. Those early experiences taught her the value of teamwork, discipline, and storytelling — qualities that continue to shape her work today.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Educational Media from James Madison University, Olivia dove into the world of digital storytelling. Now, as our Social Media Coordinator, she combines her love of sports and performance by interviewing high school athletes and sharing their stories — a full-circle moment that brings together her past and present passions.
Outside of work, Olivia also runs her own photography business and loves seeing how her creative work helps build connections and bring the community together. She loves working for Always Driven Apparel because of the supportive staff and the bonds she’s created so far.
Hi, I’m Laurie – a proud wife, mom of two, and custom apparel creator at Always Driven Apparel. For the past three years, I’ve specialized in screen printing and embroidery, helping clients design pieces that truly represent their style and spirit. Whether it’s for a business, a team, or a special event, I’m passionate about turning ideas into something you can wear with pride.
Maureen is a proud lifelong resident of Toms River and a graduate of Toms River High School North. She holds degrees from both Elon University and Georgian Court University, and brings a deep sense of local pride and connection to everything she does. Currently, Maureen is happy to be a part of the team at Always Driven Apparel, where she finds joy in contributing to the community she loves. What she values most about her work is the opportunity to help strengthen school and town spirit, while collaborating with an amazing and passionate staff.
Maureen has been happily married to her husband Ed for 22 years, and together they are raising four beautiful children. Her commitment to family, education, and community shines through in all that she does.
